Did Anyone Watch the New "Knight Rider" Series Premire?

I just finished watching the Series Premire of the new "Knight Rider" television show and I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed. I was a fan of the original series back in the early eighties, and I thought that it might be fun to follow this new series. However, I have to say that, while some of the concepts behind the plot of this new show are interesting, the show itself is kind of silly. The car, for all it's cool abilities to transform, is effectively worthless. Michael Tracer (from hereon out to be known as Michael Knight), is laughable. The supporting cast is goofy and a lot of the cinematography just looks horrible....a lot of poorly done CGI from inside the car as well as an excessive amount of CGI throughout. Whatever happened to hiring stunt crews like the old show used? Of course, this is just my opinion and I certainly want to know what others think about this new Knight Rider. I am not trying to sound like a Knight Rider purist. The formula for the hold show was cool, but I in no way think that this new show needed to follow the same format. All the same, it would be nice to see a show that was a little more intelligent writing behind it. Thoughts???
