I don't think I could ever do that, but I've never been in that situation to know for sure. I have been married for 19 years now, but I can't imagine doing it myself. I think I would be thinking about their previous relationship too much. Have a great night and happy myLotting!!!

Hello mylotting friends!!! The important thing is that your friend knows about it and she/he approve it. If they approve then there is nothing wrong. Happy mylotting!!!

What will you do if your friend doesnt want you to go out or to date his/her ex?

Well if that makes you uncomfortable then maybe its better you do not as this may complicate things with your friend. If you are interested with them probably you could consult your friend then from there decide if things are worth exploring weigh which one deserves some attention.

I never did, it sounds complicated and awkward; but well, it really depends on the situation. My friend's ex might be a bad person or something like that , why would I go after him then? It's true that friends sometimes have the same taste even in guys but well, it will be uncomfortable to date my friend's ex, I don't know, it's just taboo you know. It's like a definite no-no. But well, who knows? We really can't tell.

Good day... it depends on the situation If the girl is ok and that they really had ended the relationship then I guess it's ok. Though I would be careful because I can't be sure where the relationship is heading, I might just be a rebound factor.

Hi Jep! In my case since I'm a girl, I would date a friend's ex, depending on how I really like the guy, regardless on how he looks and what stories I heard about him. In my perspective, everybody has their own opinion about a person, so I wouldn't mind knowing the guy personally to really see how much of a loser he is or if he's actually a gem that could not be better appreciated by his ex-girl. Besides, I've had friends that omit the real story behind the break up, just to gain favor with friends and not be tagged as a total b*tch. I like giving a person the benefit of the doubt and I don't mind knowing the person better before making any harsh judgment on his personality. I'm very open to possibilities. Cheers! ^____^

I think it all boils down to your interest or your feeling towards your friend's ex. If you really like your friend's ex then i guess there's nothing wrong going out with that person but just to be safe i think we should let our friends know that we are planning or already going out with his/her ex.
