What is your usual reaction as a parent? Or do you feel nervous or excited before hand? For me, I think it all depends on the previous academic achievement of the child if there's a need to be nervous or to be excited about. But it worries me if times are successive when my boys tend to "sleep" when they're supposed to be studying, it sure does show something negative on their report cards. How do you receive your kid's report card? Happy posting! Thanks for sharing!

At my son's school they are on 9 week grading periods. About the 4th-5th week they send out progress reports and keep you updated on their progress good or bad. So when it coms to report cards I pretty much know what to expect. A funny story though...When my youngest was in kindergarten some of the older kids told him that if he got an s (satisfactory) that meant the sheriff would be waiting on him at home. Needless to say he was a little too gulible and I had a terrible time trying to convince him to hand it over! LOL The things kids will do and believe!

I pretty much know what to expect when it comes to my son's report card. He brings home his school papers every week, so I see what grades he is getting on those things. He got his mid term grades last week. All A's and B's.

I dont worry for the most part...My son has a tendancy to slack off in some classes but he gets a handle on his grades again...My daughter on the other hand NEVER gives me anything to worry about since her grades are all in the 90s..

CONGRATULATIONS my Friend for such an outstanding performance of your kids in school! You are indeed so blessed to have them brought up the way you did because in times of modernity like ours, kids just need sometimes pushing to study. Thanks Great Mom!
