How do I promote my blog?

I recently created a blog using blogger. How do I create traffic to the site and promote it?

In traffic exchange sites. There are two ways to get credits/hits. It's either to buy credits or surf in that TX (traffic exchange) site. If you want your site to get hits with no cost, just sign up in a TX site then surf to earn credits. Assign your earned credits to your blog site in order to receive hits from other members surfing in that TX site you are a member of. That's it.

Yeah that's right. I've joined hits4u and I myself don't care about other sites that are displayed. Most of the times it goes unnoticed.

Well, it depends. Based on my experience, as long as it catches my attention or if the title sounds interesting then I am exploring the site. Also, depends on the TX' timers amount. To those TX that have 10 second or less timers, of course less probability that your site will be viewed my viewers specially if site doesn't load immediately.

you can promote your blog in so many ways, but i will state few of them here:
1. put your blogs urls in your mail signature
2. make comments on other peoples blog and put your url
3. after all posts always ping your blog, you can use pingomatic, it is free!
4. submit your blog url to blog directories, you check my profile for details
5. join forums like mylot and announce your blog
6. make your blog to be unique, don't copy

if you want promote your blogs or get more traffic, you can barter link with the site or blog is high rating. like my blog : srikandi19 dot blogspot dot com have rating at alexa 774.845 . you can to join a forum and put to your link blog at there. good luck !

There are a few basic things that you can do. Do you like to post on message boards? If you do, use your blog's address as your signature. People will see it and possibly decide to check it out. And best yet, the more you post, the more your blog is 'out there'. The same goes for your email account. You can use it as your email signature so whenever you email your friends or whoever else, they'll again see it. Especially your friends, you can ask them to check it out. Those two ways could help create traffic to your blog.
