Any tips on drawing puppies?

Hey every one. This is my first post, so please be kind! lol. So I am wondering if anyone has any tips on drawing puppies. I received my first commision job, and she wants drawings of her furbabies. I will be using a picture that either I take, or that she will give me. Thanks!

well, use shading from pencil ...do it from cotton...it will look cool
