I love to spend time on the beach. My home country has sandy and pebbly beaches but the weather is cool. I prefer going to a white sand beach with gently waving palm trees in the tropics. The climate is hot and I can go snorkeling to see friendly fish and colorful coral. Has your home country got great beaches? Is the climate right for enjoying them? Have you been to a lovely beach at home or overseas?

Wow! The beaches of India sound amazing. I would love to go to the palm fringed beaches of Kerela. I imagine there must be some very unspoilt beaches between Goa and Kerela. After seeing the Taj Mahal I would love to go to see a beautiful beach.

Our beaches are small compared with other countries. However they are really beautiful. There are both sandy and rocky beaches. Usually I spend the Sunday morning at the beach taking an early dip in the clear water and then go back home to avoid the hottest hours .

I have visited the beach in Galway (Ireland) but the weather was not so inviting. We went to Blackpool last summer and the water was greyish. It did not seem that inviting either.

I don't like our beaches too much, most of them have stones, and the ones they put sand doesn't last long as the sand disappears. There is a natural swimming pool with sand from a distant country that is cool but it too is starting to get sharp little stones. I don't like pebble beaches too much, as the sun makes them burn my feet and the waves hit them against my feet when I try to go in, plus there are those that get slippery and other that might have big sharp edged stones. I love sand beaches. Most our sand beaches are black sand.

My country has a lot of great beaches... but sad to say i live in a province which is quite far from them... we have to travel like for 1 hour and 30 mins... but the travel is worth it... we went there last summer and we truely enjoyed the beach... my daughter had a great time playing in the sand... but she was still afraid of going in the water...

I love the water so I am at the lake and beaches quite often. In the summer that is. I go camping a lot too so I am able to lay on the beach for hours at a time. I also love to go boating and I love fishing and I love swimming right off of the boat. I do that quite a bit. I used to live in Winnipeg and I had a boyfriend that had a sailboat and he docked it in Kenora which is about a two hour drive. We used to go every weekend and spend the whole time on the water, in his sailboat, It was a big one with a sleeper and the whole works down stairs. So we were able to camp on the boat. I loved it and miss it now. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Have a good mylotting day, Chris
