or hold the discussion starter responsible for your earnings when the discussion is deleted? of course our earnings will be deducted for how much we earned for a certain discussion when its deleted...reason why I'm asking is because i felt upset with a member like i thought he/she was pointing the blame with the discussion starter for losing 2 cents after the discussion was deleted.. the discussion was fine and very interesting...a lot of responders but of course we always have this unhappy responders all the time at least one...and i saw one of her responders unhappy because of typos..and after that the discussion was gone...so we and the other responders believe the guy reported it abusive except for one who's like putting the blame on the discussion starter for losing 2 cents... so my people of mylot..whenever a discussion you responded to had been deleted..do you blame the starters?

Nope, why should we blame the starters?? They only start what they like, and if we choose to respond to it, we are the ones whom has to be responsible for anything that happen to our post.. IN the 1st place, nobody expected the post to be deleted, and if it's due to some conflict between some responders, so y is it the fault of the starter?? It's kinda stupid right?? haha

I'm assuming your talking about my discussion about no strings attach...actually I'm a bit upset about it.. know i did use the F word but not to curse with anyone.. used it for an expression only...just like you i really feel that i hit a nerve when i had my typos with that certain discussion...

Nope, because if they intended for it to get deleted they wouldn't have stared it in the first place. If a few typos upset me so much that i had to report it as abuse i wouldn't bother reading it to start with, that way my silliness wouldn't cost anyone else.

TO be honest, I cant understand why so many people get upset at loosing a penny, lest face it , we should be here to have a bit of fun, and well if we get something in return they hey presto we should be smiling.. as for typos, yeah I make them all the time. I supose if we all know the rules and the goal posts are not moved them if something is dodgy then we should not really respond to it. So point the blame at the people that are suffering from politically correctness. If they want to be correct, then mylot is not for them, join a lexicographers society or somethig a little more intelectual, and lest see how they get criticised there :-)
