Can you handle them? Throughout life there are many obstacles that we endure. I truly beleive these are tests to see just how strong we can be and what we can handle. While some can handle these obstacles while others cut their losses and run. Those who handle these stressful, sometime longterm situations become stronger for their efforts. Can actually take what life dishes out?? Just how strong do you think you are?

I believe I handle life's obstacles effectively and without much stress. Obstacles happens in life and it is part of that life. But managing the obstacles without undergoing much stress and spoiling the life is important. If this is an indication of strength, OK, I am strong. Happy mylotting

Good response, aryajayaprakash. Stay strong and you'll be able to handle all that life may have in store for you. Hopefully, no overwhelming situations will ever destroy your optimism.

I'm now 22 years old and I'm absolutely independed. There came a time when I was so broke I can't even buy a stick of Marlboro Lights and my home phone kept ringing off the hook from credit card collectors. I couldn't get myself to ask my parents for help and I thought of just killing myself. But then the storm passed, I got a job and was able to pay all my debts. Now I'm waiting for a promotion and I'm living a nearly fulfilled life.

I'm glad to hear your life has improved, macdenril. It takes patience and time but usually things begin to improve. Taking your own life maybe would have solved your immediate problems but look at the devestation that would have be bestoyed upon your family and friends. Good luck to you on your promotion and I hope you find what you need to have a totally fulfilled life.

I have to be really really honest and say that I used to run away from them, but I found out the hard way that you never really can run away from them can you, even if you were to escape to Outer Mongolia or the other side of the world the problems or events still go with you, unless you can transplant another brain or thought patterns then you are stuck with what you have and that is something you can never escape, so you have to deal with it head on, even if it's uncomfortable! I do find obstacles remain obstacles because I try and cheat and get pass them without confronting them, but with age comes wisdom and with experience and bad mistakes comes the learning curve and it's just a shame that experience comes at the wrong end of life. But I like to think that I am now stronger and next time I can face it head on instead of trying to take the easy way out of escaping and avoiding because it comes back and bites you!
