in the developed countries at least ,the life expectancy of people has increased quite considerably over recent decades.more and more people are living into thier eighties and even thier ninities and there are various reasons foe this , there is no doubt that better medical care has done much to keep people alive longer ,however ,it is not the only reasons for increased lifesapn.better living conditions have aslo played a part , but i wonder that people try to invent many high technology so as to keeo them live longer.but they really happy? if you are besiged by diease ,do you still happy in the such the condition? if you become older day by day with sophisticated diease, are you happy then though you can live longer in the world? is it live longer you are happier?

Honestly, what makes me happy is what I do everyday, like be with the people I love, do activities that I love, etc. These types of things make me happier than the fact that I might live longer.

nobody really wants to die even if we're crawling due to old age or disease. life is good no matter the consequences. you can always create a niche for happiness. for me living longer is not as important as living significantly no matter how short or long the time you spend in this world. we don't know what the next instant would bring us so it is better to live life to the fullest in each moment that passed. easier said than done, i know, but achievable nonetheless. it is also important that we live harmoniously with people around us and care about what's really going on in the world so that we would feel the importance of life more and serve our purpose before our time comes.

i am very truly grateful to you for your response you are right ,the meaning of life is some things what you relly did no matter short or long ,if the person have lost their meaning even though they live longer .that is no meaning ,and he must feel boring and sad,
