Do you like happy ending or on the contrary?

I like happy ending rather than sad final as leading actor died, the villain gained lots of money, etc. although the baffling but meaningful ending always lasts for centuries and gets better marks not matter on box office or criticists, most of time just happy ending make me feel relax and joyful. after i step out the cinema, the only thought in mind is 'oh, how happy i am! how luck we are!' or some other sentiment like that. what do you think of this prolem? which side do you stand by mostly?
