Cancer....... I Wish There Was NO Such Thing.....

I pray that one day "they" (whoever "they" are) will find a cure for cancer. I am soo sick and tired of this horrible disease taking my friends and family from me. My little brother died of leukemia when he was eleven years old. My mom had colon cancer but is a five year survivor. My stepmom had a cancerous brain tumor but is in remission. One of my older brothers is still fighting Hodgins disease after six years. My ex-sister-in-law has ovarian cancer and it's terminal. My (step)dad just passed away from lung cancer. I just got a phone call last night from one of my dear friends who just found out she has incurable cancer of the liver.
WHEN IS THIS EVER GOING TO END??
Sometimes I wonder just how much one can really take? How much is enough? Life is just too dang short.... My friend is only 51. She doesn't deserve to go through this. Niether does anybody else for that matter.
Sorry for the rant but I am finding this is a good place to do it. Thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry to hear that so many of your loved ones have had to suffer with cancer. It sounds like your family has gotten more than it's share of the awful disease!
I'll be thinking happy, healthy thoughts for the survivors, for your friend, and for you. Lots of hugs to you.

Sorry about your friends and family. If I were you I'd go to the doctor all the time to make sure that your okay. Cancer can be very sneaky and people don't realize that they are sick (or they do but refuse to see a doctor) until it's too late. Sadly, I don't think "they" are going to find a cure for it anytime soon.
Take care.
