Are you Lactose-Intolerant?

I am. I want to drink milk but then I would have to undergo the torment of stomach grumbling. I wonder if there's any cure. We all need to drink milk for calcium, right? I don't like taking supplements. Sigh.... Is it true that if you continue to drink milk even though you're lactose-intolerant will make you lactose-tolerant in the end?

I personally am not, but it's funny because the rest of my family is. Both parents and my two younger sisters are both lactose-intolerant. I don't know if that's necessarily true about becoming intolerant; I drink a lot of milk and can honestly say that my body still enjoys the milk. On the flipside, my sisters have tried it and they still have not gotten accustomed to milk.

I'm fortunately not lactose-intolerant. I say that because I love milk and various dairy products. But yep, we all need to get that calcium. But for your last question, I have no idea to tell you the truth. I've actually never even heard of that.
