Can you believe Jim finally purposed! What do you think about doing him getting on his knee outside of a gas station? I think he is so cute, it would have seemed romantic in a bathroom. Some people can get away with anything.

I just love this show! Yes, that proposal scene was very sweet, romantic and moving. The rain added another element to it and it just makes me happy how such a very simple proposal could make two people (and the audience) very happy. I like how Michael and Holly relate to each other too. That rap scene had me laughing. And Kelly telling Ryan she'll see him around because it's a small office, I was like "go, Kelly!". I think I'm obsessed with this show.

The rain made it perfect. As for Michael and Holly, their relationship is just plain sad. Can you believe he tore up her tickets... it looks like they are doomed, especially with Jan back in the picture.

I think Michael and Holly complement each other... but who can compete with Jan? She is crazy!

I have been so worried lately on where to propose to my girlfriend but we watched this episode together and it was like thats it, it works, i don't have to think about it anymore. and than i thought to myself, hey wait a minute, you're not Jim. So i guess i am still stuck. But the scene was totally awesome.

Yes I agree. If I remember correctly Pam decided to go away to school the night that she was expecting to get engaged. I hope that she doesn't end up feeling like Jim waited too long. I'm worried.

I think it was just so romantic and great because Jim just couldn't wait anymore. He wanted it to be special, but he didn't want to go any longer without proposing to Pam that he did it at a gas station. With anyone else it wouldn't have worked, but because of that longing, it so did!
