eating competition

I believe some people consider this a sport, but I think it's awful myself!! We as a society (Americans) are already more obese than any other country. I watched an episode of "Wife Swap" about a father who was a competitive eater. He was so big, the whole family was in fact. I know that some competitive eaters are thin as rails, but I think as far as health this isn't a good "sport" for anyone to partake in.
