Adding more friends.

I am a new blog maker and have created a blog http://sridharanblog.blogspot.com/ I would like to add more latest news on the trends topic. If any one help me to get more visitors I could get some suggestions and improve my blog's visibility more. I have only one friend and would like to have more friends so that I can get a good circle in making good blogs. Thanks everyone.
