Do you get ''that feeling'' when you step into a church?

I always feel a sort of presence of God when I step in a Church. It is a feeling of love and belonging. It is a mystic sort of feeling. And overall it is a good feeling being in Church. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I don't go to church that often. There are some church's that I have felt very unwelcome in. I don't wear dress clothes. So yeah a dress no. I have found a few that don't make me feel like I don't belong. One is over 154 miles from my house. Church was never big in my family till now. Now I'm 48 and more confused about it all then ever. When I tried to get my family to go when I was younger no way. Now my Mom just got Bastized and so did my sister. Me no I'm going with my Dad. Hey someone has to. I'm just confused about it all. Hi GemmaR, Yes, I have an awesome feeling when I go to church! I love worshipping the Lord! God is so good...ALL the time and He deserves our praise! I sing in the church choir and I sometimes get emotional when I sing and think about Who God really is and how much He loves me! There is nothing in this entire world greater than knowing the Lord! He is so good to me and takes such good care of me! God bless you!!

I feel like I'm with family. Our church has a small congregation and everybody knows each other and is there for each other. I feel save because of this. I don't get this feeling in other churches and I have been in many in my life. There are churches that overwhelm me otherwise, like some of the medieval cathedrals. They are more daunting..

I feel the same way when I enter our church. And I always get emotional when I praise God. He is so good to me and my family. And He is always faithful and deserves our praises all the time. I feel like the church is my second home. Our church is our family here away from our home town.
