I have the whole series of Lord of the rings and cant wait for their movie the hobbits. I have also watched all 5 parts of harry potter but i am not so into it and i am not so desperate for the next part. Though i have not read the books on which these movies are related but i think Lord of the rings is better than HArry potter. Lord of the rings is somewhat realistic but Harry potter is all magical stuff which amuses only small kids but lord of the rings is liked by many grown ups. Which of the two you people like?? Thanks a lot for your time.

Hi. I, like you, have watched both the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the first five films of Harry Potter and, though it's quite a tough decision, I'd say I'd go for Lord of the Rings. Of course, I have to admit that I haven't read the LotR books, despite owning the complete set, whereas I have read the Harry Potter series from start to finish, but I find that story- and character-wise, Lord of the Rings has much more depth. It's an entirely different world out there, vividly described in Tolkien's text and brought to life by the amazing filmmaker that is Peter Jackson. I was actually obsessed with the films (and the actors who played the characters) for the better part of two years, actually, before moving on to other fandoms but, even now, every time I re-watch any of the three LotR films, I fall in love all over again.

I would pick Lord Of The Ring, but really I don't like either series. I was able to actually sit through the Rings though. always turn the Harry {otters off or fall asleep.

LOTR for me.. i love it so much!! and i really felt sad after watching the final installment. it's like i have become a part of it and ending it is like saying goodbye to all the characters that i grew to love. it's like they became a part of me already. I also like the way they did the movie.. they filmed it from start to finish without gaps so the characters from the first installment up to the last have the same look, the same body built, etc. unlike in HP were they started as kids and now they are all grown up. theyre not cute to watch anymore.

Lord Of The Rings are the best movies i have ever seen . And i saw how the made the movie, They didn't forget any detail so the movie was perfect . As for Harry Potter, before i saw any movie i hated Harry Potter but once i saw the whole Parts i liked it's story . Both of them Lord Of The Rings And Harry Potter Are great Movies .
