This is from an episode of "Trading Spouses". It's a show on FOX where two completely different families trade mothers for a week. The show usually ends in happiness and hugs when the mother returns to her family and appreciates how much she missed them, and the family realizes how much she means to them. This is an older episode but I just saw it recently so I thought I would share it with those of you who have not seen it yet either. The mother shown in the clip is a Christian with very strong beliefs. "Strong" may be an understatement. She lived in a pagan household for a week and returned home crazier than ever. So MyLotters.... does this remind you of anyone..... ? *grin* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCh2FXzD6R4

Got all kinds of worked up didn't she! That was quite a show she put on for the cameras. You notice she was still and quiet in the car on the way over there? I can't imagine the psychological damage she did to those kids and I'm sure does on a regular basis. Can't say that I'm terribly surprised by this, even though I am a bit stunned. Religion has always been a mind game. Fear taught as love, hate taught as right, it's no wonder some people get like this. It's really sad and disturbing. But I see that she took the money in the end... I'll call her the wavering warrior.. I guess her God told her it was ok to have her gastric bypass. Whew!

They say God works in mysterious ways. If she really was so much of a Christian she should have just given her problems to God. Would have saved herself a whole heap of embarassment :p

This was all a show she put on for the people in her church to show them what a good righteous Christian warrior she is, plain and simple. I'm sure she had this all worked out ahead of time. Exactly what she was going to say and getting all worked up like that. You noticed she kept repeating the same things over and over again, like reading from a script in her head. I'm sure you also noticed how many times she told the camera people to leave but then didn't do anything about it. If someone was in my house that I told to leave and they didn't I'd be grabbin some arms and showing them to the door or be on the phone with the police. She didn't really want them to leave! Again, she wanted that whole tirade filmed. I'm sure she got a big pat on the back from her fellow church members and had a big excuse planned out as to why she took the money in the end. She's about as phoney as they come.

I found the rest of the show on youtube and watched it. I must retract my earlier statement that this was all for show. I now believe she was NOT putting on an act and is completely full tilt bozo, a few fries short of a Happy Meal, a couple of cards shy of a full deck, her elevator doesn't go to the top floor, oh I could go on and on. ROFLMAO!!

OMG I remember when that episode aired, you should have seen the discussions started on that one. That episode ran a few weeks ago on lifetime and I laughed my butt off. I usually stay out of the religion section, but I can think of a few folks here that are like that lady.

These "God's Warriors" are insane. They take religion too far. I cannot believe that people like this exist. People who are brain washed with religion are going to go out of their minds, but what was so funny is how hypocritical the Christian mother was. She did not want the money because the people she put up with were not Christian, but then it was said that she accepted the money afterwards to pay for things that her family wanted to do. See, this, and there are so many other reasons out there, are reasons why I chose not to believe in religion or why I do not have a religion anymore because religions can really damage people.

I REMEMBER HER...i don't watch trading spouses but i just happened to catch this one and laughed my a** off. "I AM GOD'S WARRIOR"...wow, this woman gives christians a bad name. even my husband said so. but he said in the south there are people like that. i've never personally witnessed anything like that. both him and me and christians but from different denominations and we agree that other people can worship how ever they want to and we have no right as christians to judge them.

I saw a little of those episodes when they came out. I could only stomach a little of them ( after the initial chuckles ) before completely tuning them out. It was a pathetic display of over dramatalization. The local radio stations still use her " I'M A GOD WARRIOR!" part in drops just to poke even more fun at her. Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic!

This is crazy. I saw this episode and was horrified. I honestly don't think it was that bad. I am a Christian and there has to be a balance in life. Christians shouldn't act this way. It makes all Chrisitans look bad. All I can say is WOW!!!! GOd doesn't make us stupid. We all can use some extra money, and she just ripped up the check. Prayer is the key and she needs a lot of it. She was tearing her family apart with her fall out. WOW!!!!!!! I'm glad she finally accepted the money, and the other mother wasn't as evil as she thought she was. I say this, so what if someone doesn't believe in the things I believe in. God has to deal with that. If God doesn't judge, what gives us the right to? She needs to calm down big time.

And they think Pagans are scary??? Wow! This woman scared me just watching it. The fear on her children's faces was so sad. And the screaming she did, the ranting about not taking the money - only to decide to take it later.... I rarely ever watch these shows. Mainly because they pit two so very opposite families against each other and I don't see that it accomplishes much. Especially after watching this freaky lady.

I saw that episode and I could not believe her. I am a Christian but she was carrying things way too far. I felt sorry for her kids and husband. They looked at her like she had lost her mind - I think she did. What did she think it was going to be like going to someone elses house? I don't understand some people.
