New generation of car

Well we all know that we are facing a fuel crisis, the price is going up and some people are trying to find the new generation of cars... Some of them I've heard is using Water, and other methods. I think it is really interesting, the cars we use has been existing for more than 100 years... I wonder how would the next generation cars be, the ones that my grand children will use... I hope it's environmental-friendly tho... What do you think?
