We people are very much great talking with our family members, and within our friends.. loudly and ever argue more within ourself.. but if you ask them to give the speach in front of the public, ie., in the meeting or somthing, they will come backwords.. I dont know, why the people are beware of talking infront of the crown, there also the set of people those who are around you before in your office like that only. If you treat them also your family members or friends, you can very well talk very much fluently. I used to talk infront of anybody, and in any of the group of the personnal, even in the meetings, i will prepare myself with the subject, thats all, i can talk to infront of anyone.. If the topic is known to me, i dont have any problem to discuss in front of any one, or any group of the people. I used to talk in like this from my childhood days onwards, recently i have attended one seminor in the South-indian meet also. So i dont have any stage fear or something What about you, post your opinion about this topic.

I would call in sick that day... I had to talk in front of a group of about 40 people about a year ago and I didn't sleep all night.

I do get stage fright so I really dont like speaking infront of the public because I am not really a good speaker I am affraid that I would forget what I would say or say it wrong. Which is one thing I would hate if I was a celbrity player I would hate talking to the media.

More people are afraid of public speaking than anything else. I guess I'm backwards. I've spoken to groups of literally thousands without a problem -- no butterflies or jitters. Don't ask me to talk somebody one-on-one, though. That positively terrifies me!

If there was any way that I could get out of speaking in front of a crowd, I would. It's very difficult for me to do any public speaking in front of crowds. This is mainly due to the fact that I have Social Anxiety Disorder. Having that makes it very hard to do anything like that. I can even barely do presentations in class. With Social Anxiety Disorder, you always feel paranoid and afraid that people will laugh at you and/or think poorly of you. It makes you extremely self-conscious among other things. It's kind of hard to explain, but it is one of those things that those without it can never really know what it's like to have it. Even with people I generally feel comfortable around, I find it can be difficult.
