A daily dose of computer games can boost student's scores on standard math tests, says a new research. The study, which was carried out in Scotish schools, was conducted by Learning and Teaching Scotland the main organisation for the developement of the curriculum. In the research, experts analysed the effect of a "brain training" game. The study involved more than 600 pupils in 32 schools across Scotland using the Brain training from Dr kawashima game on the Nintendo DS everyday. React on this

But they are talking about a Brain Training game, not about any videogame, LOL. Sure it helps if you are playing with a game where you have to solve problems but if you think that also playing PES could help I guess results won't be so impressive :D

Hi there Milindp! That's great then if it really improves people's skills in Math. Maybe it depends upon what you are playing or maybe there's a specific program for that? I have been playing different pc games, onnline, offline and network games but my Math still doesn't improve. Thank you very much for sharing that news.

This is a good news. In fact I always think that it won't be too bad to play computer games. Everything has its advantage and disadvantage. If you are not addicted to the computer games, playing it now and then isn't bad. I love China
