We destroyed everton with ease. torres back to his best. 4 goals scored but only 2 were allowed. looks like this season we are serious contenders for the title.

Yes, Everton were not in the match more or less. Torres was by far the best player on both sides and he ended up scoring both the goal. So Liverpool are back to the top 2 of the table now that Arsenal were stunned by Hull City. Cheers! Ram

torres was out of sort in the 1st half. he was a different player in the second and was amazing. had 1 or 2 good runs at the defender and showed his class. robbie keane did well to provide the 1st goal. i hope he break his duck soon, if not his confidence will be affected. it really strange that our last 2 expensive strikers always have difficulties in opening their liverpool account. crouch took close to twenty games. i do not think keane will need to wait so long. i expect him to do so before 10 games. hull city did well to take the points of arsenal. but chelsea will be a serious contenders. their squad is the strongest of the 4.

I think you are right. Chelsea are going to be the team to beat this year. Can't wait to see how the season unfolds from here on. Cheers! Ram

Yes ! I had a really sunny weekend. Pepe Reina was a fool not to put out his deck chair on Satuday Afternoon. We are doing well so far but it's only 6 games in, and it's a long season. Lets hope that we can be this optimistic at the end of the season.

Liverpool showed their class by beating Everton 2-0, making amend for what their should have win over Stoke last week. Fantastic play by Torres with both goal beautifully taken. It will be an icing on the cake if the 3rd goal is not ruled out. I still have some reservation on the referee standard as Liverpool had a few goals being disallowed and some dubious decisions. Keep it up Liverpool! You'll Never Walk Alone!
