It is so sad to see the "good ones" passing on. HOllywood just doesn't have any greats anymore. THey are all about themselves and money and bed hopping.
And when asked why he stays with his wife Joanne WOodward he said "I have steak at home, why go out for a burger?"

So sad. A great actor, a real person and no-one will take his place.

This saddens me. Newman was one of the greats. I watch cool hand luke every time it is on TV...I love that movie. Farewell Mr. Newman...

I watch Butch Cassidy and the SUndance Kid - saw it in the movies when it first came out...on a first date! Lot of memories there and those two guys were the cutest! Talk about the end of an era
