How did cheese come about

How did cheese come about? If you think about it, cheese comes from cows. So that means a cave man must have milked a cow and somehow gotten cheese. what do you think?

I don't think caveman had cheese. Cavemen were hunters and gatherers, they moved from place to place. Only when people began to domesticate milk producing animals such as goats, sheep and cattle did they make cheese. Cheese likely came aout by accident when milk went sour. Remember there were no refrigerators. Even today people make cheese in some places on a daily basis by adding lemon juice to milk and let it curdle. It makes a kind of cottage cheese.
