I use to always act before I think, and there were always consequences behind it that I wasn't so fund of. I would do or say something, and then think about it later, so yes I learned the hard way, to think before I react, that way I can keep the peace. How about mylotters?

HI miracle, Most of the time, I am reacting first before thinking and analyzing properly and it wasn't good at all! I will promise to improve next time but can't perfect it..LOL! maybe I need to have an alarm in my body to remind me to pause and think when I am in the situation before saying anything!

I really try to think before i react, but there are just times when something pushes me over the edge and i reat without thinking; certianly not my proudest moments.

mostly i think. i think twice before i speak with somebody.so it is obvious that i think before i react most of the times. there are also exceptions.

since i was a kid, i think too much before i act. so, 90% of the time i am very happy with my choices i made. the choices i wasnt happy with because i didnt have much control over them.

I always think before reacting to any situation and I even think twice before talking anything...I'll think that what will happen if say these things to others..I always prefer safe side rather than the risky side...It is better to learn from others mistakes, instead of making mistakes and then learning from our mistakes...

I like to think that I do; I know there are times that when I still react a little hastily, but for the most part I have worked and learned on how you stay level-headed and focused on getting all the information before I react to any kind of situation. When I was younger, it was worse; I really let myself react to everything right away. Not so anymore!

I am not sure on which I do more, I know that there are times that I act before I think and yes they do sometimes turn out bad and then I regret it later. However their are times when I think before I act and then lose an opportunity to do something.

I find that it is really difficult to think before you do anything if you are under pressure and you only have a few seconds to think, then you get under a lot of stress. It can be just too hard to stop and think. It really probably does cause a lot of those bad decisions.

Of course yes! there is no reason to react and you haven't think of what you are going react. Your reaction would be at no grounds at all.

Now that I'm older I think before I react. I didn't when I was younger. I would say what ever was on my mind with out thinking. Now I give myself time to think it over before I react. It works out a whole lot better in the long run.

i always believe that what we say or what we do has an equal consequence. and with regards to this, i always think of the freudian slip "a verbal mistake that is thought to reveal an unconscious belief, thought or emotion.." i always give benefit of the doubt to every person. so when i'm asked of something whether it's an opinion or a decision, i think first before i react because not only am i conscious of the consequence of what i will have to say but also because i don't want to hurt someone just because of irrational thinking or because of freudian slip. happy mylotting! :)

I tend to do that sometimes, but not very often. I don't know why I do it, but it's sort of like you can't prevent it. It just happens...
