How do you delete old messages from mylot?

I have a question... I have an old message that I would like to delete... I was one of those messages that get sent to everyone and that was not asked for... was of the come visit my website and join this site variety... How do I delete it without responding to it.

go to message find that one pull it up and on right side there is a trash can hit it and it deletes
