Our 3 month old dog died today

The breed is german shepherd, was born last June 2, 2008. This morning, Nana (that's what we call her, our dog, that is) was still very much alive. But this noon, just as our two household helps went out, they discovered that nana was already dead. The cause: she was strangled by her own rope tied around her neck (okay, it's actually a dog leash.) She sort of jumped on a cemented barrier, and was instantly hanged. It was a shock to us. We still have 2 more german shepherds left, but we really felt sorry for the loss of our dog. What a heart-breaking experience.
