What is your favorite Hymn ~ or Christian song?

I'm really not looking for some of the new ones. I'm asking about the "older tunes" I have two: Amazing Grace and The Old Rugged Cross. They both were favorites of my grandparents who have since passed. Whenever I hear them I think of my Memaw and Papa. What are your favorites? I just listened to them tonight as I was creating a playlist.

"The Lord is my Shepherd" this is one of my favourite,then "Abide with me".There are many hymes that I listen to and all are sung so wonderfully.Whenever I listen to hymes,I find peace within me.Thank you.

I like both of those too. And I most definitely agree about how peaceful I feel when I listen to a moving hymn. thank you!

well mine is a pretty c;assic choice but its a sing that i aodre morning has broken i think it is a beautifull hymn and quite uplifting at the same time i love this hymn as it was a fave of my grandparents and it always reminds me of them

I have to admit - I don't think I know that one. I'm going to definitely have to look it up. Thank you! It reminds you of your grandparents, that is exactly why I think I love Amazing Grace and Old Rugged Cross.
