What are you doing today?

Hello Mylotters! It's as simple as that. Today is Sunday and I was wondering do you have any special plans? Do you do anything different today because it is Sunday?
When I was younger Sunday meant more than it seems to mean today. My family went to church, then relaxed by doing something fun together as a family. I try to do the same with my family. It is one day a week I like to reserve for my children and us parents to spend quality time together.Do you do the same? Happy Mylotting!

Yesterday was Sunday. LOL!! I had a nice lazy Sunday. I did a lot of gardening. In the evening, a friend visited me, and we talked and talked and talked. :)

Your right when we was younger us kids went to Sunday School and then we all went to grandma's house for Sunday dinner. Times have changed, my kids are grown and now we go to flea markets on Sunday and to the mall. I think it was better when we was young. I don't see the churches having vacation bible school anymore. That is where we spent some of our summer days. It was so much fun and we used to put on a play, and one for Christmas for the church. Guess church is not as important as it once was for the kids. My children are grown and always have their own thing to do on Sunday.

I couldn't agree with you more. My children attend a bible study during summer but it only lasts for 1 week. I don't understand why they do not make it any longer as my children as well as the others like it very much.
I like flea markets as well and sometimes go on Sundays, but if I 'm not doing that I try to get my whole family involved in something.It's maybe a little easier for me as my children areyounger than yours.But on that I know what you're talking about also.I have a 17 year old and getting her to do something with the rest of our family is nearly impossible without complaining!Thank you for the response and Happy Mylotting!

nothing, its just saturday here, i just do my laundry and i sleep again and now im starting responding and posting here in mylot, this is my life/routine during weekend,,happy posting
