Porcelain, melamine and plastic wares. They are common kitchen wares at home. I have tried using all of them and I find porcelain to be the best, although it's breakable. It's safe when you put your hot food. After hearing about issues regarding plastics and melamine, I just stopped using them.
Good day!

i do use melaware products and it contains melamine. i just don't panic that much because i don't use it in microwave. it's just used as plate in our house. we also use peorcelain bplates but it's risky sinyce it's breakable. maybe we don't have to panic that much. we just have to be cautious and be responsible buyers.specially here in our country, the Philippines china made products are everywhere and very much appreciated because it's nice and cheap.

Yes porcelain is really the best because it is the safest. We can't really trust plastic wares and melamine for hot foods... they could contaminate the food and that is too health risky. We've got to be very careful with how and where we use them.

Even a quick cup of coffee is spoiled if it's in plastic or a melamine cup. Bone china my choice every time. I think melamine or plastic is great for little children who can't really hold things very well, but that's all. I use fine china and silver even on picnics. Why would I treat myself less nicely than a guest?

I do use all of them. I use melamine plates. Milk is poured in melamine cups. I use plastic only for some eats like biscuits, etc. Porcelain is used on occasions or for some dishes. I use steel for serving food.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I've used them all, but undoubtedly, porcelain is the best. However due to its fragility, I tend to use metallic ware more.
