I'm confused

I started a discussion yesterday about earning money doing search. I had it in the interest "make extra money" I didn't think it was against the guidelines and it wasn't any different than all the other ones on there talking about their earnings on other sites. Anyways, it got deleted. I'm confused. I don't know what I did wrong but I'm sorry if I went against the guidelines.

It is difficult in the money interest to stay within the Guidelines. I'll try and help though I am not aware of your discussion. If yours was a promotion with nothing to discuss and told people to look at your profile or send a pm amd if it contained any links it would be violating. If it was asking for referrals that goes to. Only if it was a DISCUSSION about some aspect of money-making with no promotion would it pass. Sometimes staff take a while before they clean-up the discussions with violations but then they all go together. Hope this helps

Yes that must be it then! Next time make it something that users can discuss and it will still be there. Many are falling into this 'trap' but they learn and come out of it too Happy posting!

Thank you for your reply. I didn't put any link in my discussion. I just mentioned it and asked people to pm me if they were interested. I guess that's why. Although I've seen lots of discussions with this type of thing. I guess they just haven't cleaned out like you said. Thanks, I'll remember not to do that again and be more careful.

Thew only reason that I can think of why your discussion got deleted is because, maybe someone else posted that same question already. Or you did, but just did not realize it.. But let's say that you did not repeat the same discussion.. You may need to contact them about this.. It may could be an error on myLot's end. Oh and one thing more, did you post affiliate links on the discussion? If so, myLot is against this.. If not, the problem could be something else.. Juts contact them to see what it may could be.

If the reason for the deletion is already in the Guidelines they will not respond. I have given some other motivations below.

Thank you for your reply. It was probably because I asked people to pm me for info. Have a good lotting day.

I started to respond this morning and the discussion was deleted. It could be, and this is just a guess, that you offered other members to pm you with the information if they wanted the link to a particular site. I don't know if this is against the rules or not. That's all I can recall that might have been against the guidelines.

Your discussion will be actually deleted if its not of discussion type. Sometimes we may create such discussions by mistake. We will just give some information through that and it won't be of discussion type. It may be of that case. Or some of the responder to your discussion must have posted some referral link which has affected your discussion also. When starting these type of discussion add a note in bold, not to post links. That would help you. Happy mylotting.
