According to Wikipedia, "Crab Mentality" describes a way of thinking best described by the phrase "If I can't have it, neither can you." It refers to a pot of crabs in which one tries to escape over the other side, but is relentlessly pulled down by the others in the pot. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crab_mentality "History repeats itself" as the saying goes. All of us Filipinos are probably aware of what happened to Edsa II. It's history written that I can never be proud of. I think it was a symbol of treachery, deception and greediness for power. "Crab Mentality" is very much alive that day. It showed the whole world how one can be put down from the throne just as easy. We have a constitution that was framed after the United States but unfortunately the term "due process of law" was not served. To my fellow Filipinos out there what can you say?
