I am losing weight and not trying too. I keep eating and the weight keeps goin. I either vomit or have it come out the other end. I need some advice on how to recover from this situation. I know it is a very unhealthy way to be. Please any tips?

You should check with your doctor! Does it hurt when you eat? I had a similar problem and it turned out that I had to have my gall bladder removed. If it isn't taken care of you could face even worse problems with your health. If it is your gall bladder and you have gall stones they could escape into your pancreas. If this happens you will develop pancreatitus which is a very painful and serious problem. It also opens you to chronic pancreatitus which can flare up at any time and could cause you to be hospitalized. It could also be your appendix and again if it is ignored you could be in serious trouble. The main thing is you defiantly need to see a doctor, especially if you aren't trying to loose the weight!!! Please keep us posted!

I'm going to assume that you don't have an eating disorder and that you're not trying to vomit or are abusing laxatives. Right? With that in mind, I'm going to recommend that you see a doctor. We are not equipped to give you the kind of information that you're looking for. If you're vomiting up food or having excessive bowel movements, there's a problem. The vomiting issue is particularly worrisome, not only because you're not absorbing nutrients from the food you're eating, but because your esophagus is not meant to have stomach acids constantly washing over it and you could do some real damage. How long have these symptoms been going on? Is it possible you ate some bad food and are experiencing food poisoning? Is this something you've seen a doctor about before?

I do not have an eating disorder of any kind. This just started out of the blue. I hate the idea of the doctor but I know that I will have to if this continues much longer. I did not have food poisoning either.

If there are no obvious external factors then it's crucial that you see a doctor. It could simply be that you caught a bug and it'll work itself out. But if you're losing weight, becoming dehydrated and/or not absorbing nutrients from the food you're eating, you could find yourself in dire straits fairly quickly. Better to see the doctor now, even if it isn't fun, than wait until the problem gets bigger.

shell 94 please got to your doctor as you must have a medical problem that needs to be handled. You could be a diabetic and not know it.type one diabetics lose weight like mad and are very thirsty and need to go to the bathroom frequently too.Your doctor can suggest tests to find out why you are losing weight.

hey there. You DEF need to go to the doctor b/c you are going to end up malnourished and dehydrated and not being able to keep weight on could be a sign of something serious. Please go see the doctor.
