Hello all! I've been living in a dorm the past few months without a fridge. What kind of foods can I cook without the fridge? I've learned that basically, any dish cooked in vinegar does not spoil easily. Any more ideas?

I spent two weeks this year at my old house with my bf(we still own it, but no one is living there, it's 400 km from when I live now) and there's no fridge. We didn't cooked more than we were able to eat. But if we had something to stay till next day, it was mainly cakes baked or a casserole with ham and cheese. It was OK for two days, since it was all made in an oven and cheese melted. Very easy to heat it next day ^^

Thanks! I've been also buying ingredients at night, cook it, and take it to work the next day. I'll try doing cakes some time soon.

Ramen. Yea, college students pretty much live on instant noodles. They are cheap and a great and easy meal. When I move in my dorm, I'm stocking up on ramen.
