How much do you save per month?

They say it's better to save a certain percentage of your monthly salary to save for the future. Personally, I save 20% of my monthly income. I automatically deposit it to another account which I cannot easily withdraw (like passbook account) every payday. How about you? How do you save your money?

that is great and nice... as a single mom with 2 kids, i guess, its difficult to save money. how i wish i am still single, i am sure i have savings account. all my salary and monthly income go to my kids tuition fees, vitamins, foods and transportations. it is really hard being a single mom... and unfortunately instead of saving money, i got a lot of debt... very sad huh!!!

Hi there. I save money along with my girlfriend because we already have plans for next summer. We try to save 20$ each per month and if we can even more - that's about 50% or more of what we make per month - no, we are not employed for now.
