Sarah & McCain might just have 1 Set mantra

no questions please - Picture of McCain on stage, in black suit, in front of two big American flags looking serious but unsure

This is an idea my boyfriend brought by me because he says he's heard Sarah Palin telling the same stories as McCain and we know about the Bridge To Nowhere and how repetitive and annoying that had gotten, do you think they have a tight script that they stick to? Could that be why Palin fumbles when questioned unexpectantly. I do remember someone in the audience at one of Palin's campaign meetings asking the SAME question Katie Couric asked her the other day and she said the SAME thing "Ill try to find out and get back to ya"! Maybe we have been so caught up with all the news that it has just went under the radar. Is Palin and McCain only capable of following a script and maybe thats why McCain always gravitates to talking about the Iraq war even amidst a financial crisis and when you use fearmongering thats not hard to do. I do not get this feeling with Obama but that he comes off much more often like he's speaking more from his heart.

Very similar to the Mantra of Senator Obams. I am for change, a new way, hope.

I think it has to do with a person's perspective of the candidate of choice as to what feeling you get from them. Honestly, I wish they would all shut up about the Bridge to Nowhere. Obama and Biden also have egg on their face concerning that one. And really, so what if she was for it before she was against it. I'd say it is pointless for any of them to bring up.

yea, still think she shouldn't of used the money and then later on her campaign trail praising herself for being against it

All campaigns get to set the "mantra" they want to rally around. I understand why they use them, but it bugs me when voters can't seem to get past them when they speak out for or against a candidate.

I'm sure that they do. McCain use to talk to the press all the time and he would say stupid things to them. Then all of a sudden he shut the press off and refused to talk to them. Sort of what Palin has been doing since she was picked.
