The bible says that religion that God accepts is this: to look over orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted from the world. Do you do this?

I'm probably a lot better at protecting myself from the pollution of the world than I am at helping to take care of the widows and orphans. There is still a lot of room for improvement in both areas. I do believe this can greatly improve our personal relationship with God.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, yes I am. Although we humans we tend to fall short of His glory by doing things that displeases Him, He's forever faithful to forgive us, wash and purify us so once again. But of course if we keep making the sin over and over again, He's sure to punish.

we are not only concern on the orphans and widows but we must also keep away from wicked doing of the world. many religions doing only the first phrase but the verse is not limited only to those people. keep oneself from being polluted from the world is the main phrase of the verse. as we all know world now is too wicked. if you think that this doings is condemned by God you must keep away on it.

That is definitely the true essence of religion God has taught us. But nowadays, more and more denominations and self-proclaimed religions emerge professing different versions of the scriptures and all. The more they are the more bewildered the people become. They would be confused on which religion to choose. If only these religions could have just adhered to the principle of looking over and helping the "lost sheep" among us while keeping ourselves from the pollutions of worldliness, then this world would have been a better place than it is now. Honestly, I must admit, I'm still struggling to live the true essence of religion in my life. With God's help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I'll be able to do it.
