It used to be that on resumes Employers would want references. This may still be. I don't know. But I heard the other day that 1 out of 5 employers now go one peoples facebook or myspace pages as a reference. If they see that you have put pictures of yourself puking on the toilet, or something they will then in turn, not hire you because you found this behavior funny and perfectly fine to publish for all the world to see. What do you think of employers doing this? Would you be more careful about what you put on your profile pages because of this fact? Do you think this is wrong, or ok? Is it an invasion of privacy?

well, I don't think possible employers should have access to that info. and especially use it to pass judgment. Now I myself -don't have any of these embarrassing thing on my pages, but still, it does not seem right. I mean they don't know what the meaning of these things are -pictures could be an inside joke between you and your friends- it does not necessarily mean you are like that. But I can't necessarily call it an invasion of privacy- because if you put it there for all to see (granted your page Isn't set on private) then you have given up the rights to that privacy.
