Why most women are snappy at the end of the month?

I am only snappy right before I get my period. That could happen anytime during the month, not just at the end. I am tired, bloated, and just can't stand the dripping down there. It is very uncomfortable. You would be snappy too if it happened to you. Not only that, I get a mild asthma before I get it and migraines. It is not pleasant being a woman that is why we are so moody.

I don't know why they would be ... maybe they're not looking forward to the next month! It's a mystery - I don't think women's hormones are programmed to dislike the end of the month in particular.

I'm snappy in the middle of the month. Either snappy or crying for no reason. I know you are trying to imply that it's period related, but women have their cycle through the whole of the month, every 28 days. I get especially moody in the week before I start my period. While I'm having it, I'm perfectly fine. LOL, you should have just asked why women get snappy during their period. The answer is that it's hormonal. During this time, we have an excessive amount of estrogen coursing through our bodies. It can't be helped, but I fear some women use it as an excuse to be biotchy.

you mean swing mood?i guess because of the monthy period.if my hubby sees me that i have already a tiger look he will quite coz he is afraid that i will eat him hehehe.

Hi ronaldinu, Its to do with the women's body, they are in their monthly cycle and they find things really annoying and some feels weepie, its the harmones, its not very nice for women to go through, you men are vry lucky. Tamara

I am not snappy at the end of the month cause I am usually always in a good mood. I only get snappy if my boyfriend does not listen to me when I want to talk to him and he makes jokes and I am being serious about somethign then I will get snappy with him. If I tell him that I am going to clean somethign and then he does it then I get mad casue I said I would do it but most of the time I am happy and do not get snappy with him. I do not know why anyone would get snappy at teh end of the month unless tehy may be worried about paying bills and not having enough money and they may be stressed casue of this.

The average lady has a month that lasts for twenty eight days. From day one to day five she might feel yucky because of the bleeding. The worst day might be day one when she gets tummy cramp, back ache or feels sick. It is all to do with hormones. I know the first day gives my sister a migraine. When she is pregnant she doesn't get migraines that that shows it is hormonal. In pregnancy the hormones change and the lady can be sensitive and highly emotional. On days twenty six and twenty seven the average lady may have tummy cramp and back ache because day one is approaching. Bad moods are about the hormonal changes.

Hormones my dear, hormones! You feel bloated, you got to wear pads and so on and so forth between your legs and then have to constantly run to the bathroom to change...it messes up your normal life and if you were a woman, you too would be snappy when that time of the month comes along

u should ask your lady. don't think u can put us all in a pile & say we are snappy. lol

Are you sure that most women are snappy at the end of the month?I haven't the sense of your saying.I think I am willing to do every thing which my husband likes me to do.So I changed a lot after we got married.It is the the famous Chineses style.Man is proud and woman is low.

Hi ronaldinu, Who says women are snapy at the end of the month? What are you trying to say? Is it the women's cycle thing because that can't possibly be since not every woman has the same cycle. It may be because of a full moon, but then would affect men too. I never took notice that women are especially in bad moods in particular at the end of the month. Why do you think that they are? What is making you say this since I have never noticed this and I am definitely a woman!

[b]it can be because the income is about to come and they want to show their annoyance so on the day of getting income you might think of getting a gift for them. or it could be because that the month is ending and the money is short and there is a lot of pressure on her because she has to run the house so, she is touchy and may be irritating!![/b]

Yea i am so , i dont like people even talking to me , even if my mom comes and speaks to me i will tell her to mind her work , i dont like noisy nature , if they leave me to sleep the whole day i will sleep , i get angry so easily , i know but i cant control myself , well it all happens because the abnormal changes in the hormone secretion during that time

I think that is a generalization. When you say most women, well it is not possible for us all to know "most women." But if there are women who are snappy at the end of the month, and their most certainly are, I think we all know it is PMS or PMDD. Or maybe their husbands are having their own 'time' of the month. lol

Hi Ronald-often that time is either the start or ending of a woman's menstrual cycle..at both these times hormones are all over the place which causes mood swings..or it could be they may be going through the menopause which is also another reason depending on how old you are asking about...littleowl

My wife also in the same temper especially when she is in due date with her monthly period......and most of the time she is in a tired mood and do not want to talked about things......
