Ok, what would you do if.. one hot summer afternoon you are walking through the parking lot of a large mall and notice a dog badly suffering from the heat inside the locked car? Myself.. I would call 911 and tell them i am about to busy someones window to get the dog out..this way, i have alteast given warning :)

I agree...that is the right thing to do. That is standard procedure for law enforcement when a child is locked in a car. I would say do the same thing if an animal is locked in a car...save the animal...worry about who is paying for the window later...best case scenario is that the owner of the car is charged with negligence or endangerment or something and has to pay for the window...worst case...I have to pay for the window...but I would rather do that than watch that animal die...

Oh I would definitely want to take the dog, but I don't know if that would be allowed by law.

haha well i think busting the window would be out of the law also, however..if you are already in for one, might as well go in for the other... in a 'teclive' world..police would be called, window broken, puppy taken, we all live happily ever after except for the fool with the broken window and one less pet. Besides, if we break the window and dont take the dog, he might run off and get hurt :)

i agree...haha i think i would much prefer the owner get the bill, however, if the bill just happens to end up in my mail box, then, well its a bill well worth paying. Haha, i think i would take the dog too :)

I agree, I am going to break the windows (more than likely, all of them) out of the car! And then take the dog with me, and give him a home where he will be loved and taken care of! Of course, i am going to pray that same night, god punishes the person who left this dog in the car to die from the heat!

Hey!!! Hows things hun? In response to your topic ..I would break in the car and then suffer the consequences. I hate the thoughts of an animal going through that type of torture. I own pets myself and would never do that to my own. People who do that do not deserve the ones that they have. I would also call the authorities and report the situation.

hey doll doen well..nice 2 c ya :) my gut tells me i would do the 911 and get the dog..i know out here where we live..in the village..more likely than not, the one who did the window bustin would not get too much heat..they would have too much support from the surrounding 'villagers' i would poor pity the soul who owned the car..i would not wanna be them when it came time to travel to town for a bag of milk after that.. on that note though..getting off with bustying the window and taking the dog probably would not happen in a larger city

I agree, but we don't have any 911 service here. I know it was something like police. If I called the police for the same in my place, police will beat me as I was wasting their time for silly reasons.
