Do you install shoutbox on your blog? I have a shoutbox on my blog so that visitors who has nothing to comment on the posts can still leave a message for me so that I know who came to my blog and therefore, that would allow me to return the visit. So far, the shoutbox is one of the top traffic sources of my blog. That's why whenever I come across a blog with a shoutbox, I will for sure leave a comment saying that I have visited that blog. Most of the time, the owner of that blog would come and visit mine. Sometimes, we even exchange links. Some of those who came through the shoutbox have become my regular readers now. Like wise, I have become their regular readers. That is the power of a simple program that sits quietly on your blog. What shoutbox are you using on your blog? I am using a free shoutbox from shoutmix. The reason I chose that was because it was simple to install and use. It does not have the pop up ads like what cbox has. That ads from cbox is really annoying. If you are not using any shoutbox on your blog, can you please tell me what is the reason for not having a shoutbox. I would love to know the good and the bad of having a shoutbox on a blog from those who have great experience on blogging. For the rest, I would love to know what shoutbox do you have and why have you chosen that particular one. Cheers!

I know some shoutboxes do affect your blog loading time and that's why I have gone for shoutmix. On top of that, I have the option to ban anybody that I do not want to leave any shout. Cheers!
