I think Italy is a lovely country full of romance. I have been to Venice, a unique city full of canals and great architecture. I would love to take my older son to Rome because he is fascinated by history. I took him to the lovely island of Sardinia when was younger. I would love to go to the coastline around Naples. I am sure that Florence and Pisa would be charming places to visit. Have you ever been to Italy? Do you think it is a romantic destination?

I enjoyed Italy very much, except for a very bad ecperience in Rome where my friend and I had our belongings stolen from our locked van while we registered at a hostel. The police weren't interested. Do the gondoliers still sing romantic songs when they have a couple in their gondolas. This was a special time for me.

I have never been to Italy my friend, and I have never really had any desire to go there to be honest, I guess I have too many other places on my list that I want to go to first, my mum went to Venice and she wasn't that impressed with it and there's also Paris as well which is romantic but I guess going there on your own doesn't have the same 'romance' does it, I guess you need to be with someone to enjoy romantic places to their fullest.

Oh I do envy you! I would love to travel to Europe before I reach my 30th birthday! Oh my! That's just 6 years away! I read a lot about the beauty of Italy and I always wanted to experience that beauty myself. Yes, I am positive Italy is a very romantic destination, I hope my future husband (whoever he will be LOL!) will take me to Italy for a honeymoon. It's just a dream come true!
