Ever get "burned" so bad?

I was having a lovely morning today.
Got to work, a little late granted, but only by 10 minutes, and the boss was fine with that, due to public transit.
When I arrived, I hoped right to work, made 2 deliveries, and continued onto the kitchen.
Made a bit of small talk with co-workers, got my coffee and went back to the office.
Then it happened, someone who you love OH so much, who is your pride and joy, you can't live without, hurt you in a way that some would say is unforgivable, and yet you forgive them.
Oh coffee, why did I have to stumble and spill you on my hand?
*sniffles*

ouch! Sorry that happened..It's happened to me before too,.
I think in my case I am still a zombie til I have my morning coffee..
I am not as alert and often clumsy so more likely to have an accident like that lol..
But I too am in love with coffee and always forgive!
The worst is the coffee you get to go at local coffee shops..
Do they use a blow torch to make it? It's extremly hot!!
I hate that I have to wait, blowing on it frantically to get that first sip!

Weird, we don't have that issue at our local coffee shops, but then again, our "local" coffee shop is Tim Hortons, still hot, but alright to drink pretty immediate.
What I really hate though, is the starbucks coffee, not the specialty drinks, but the 2 buck drink, what HORRIBLE coffee!

he-he, yeah, I'll never be mad at coffee, it wakes me up, BUT I also love the taste OH so much *Content sigh*
It will always beat me up, but I'll be the little beaten puppy that keeps coming back....as crude as that sounds I can't think of any other analogy...analogy the right word right?
ha-ha.
