How to know if your friend is gay???

This is something you would come out and ask your friend. If he is gay and hasn't told anyone yet, maybe he's not ready for people to know yet. Just hold onto your thoughts and continue being his friend if he is gay he'll tell you guys someday..when he's ready, not when you all want to know.

Is this something that you feel is important to know? Is it gonna change your friendship? If not I wouldn't worry about it. If he feels close enough to you I'm sure he will tell you. If you just need to know bring up something about another friend you have had that may have been gay or something just related to it. If you open up the conversation in that direction maybe he will confide if he is. I hope this has helped someway.

Why do you need to know, it is important? Do you will change your approach to him if he is gay? If he is a friend you don't need to change anything becuase he is not different if he is gay or not.

I would find it hard to ask that question to someone who is suspected of being gay because if I were gay, i wouldnt want to be hassled about it. It is hard to tell if they are gay or not because they can disguise their feelings and pretend that they like girls and even be with girls to show others that they are not gay. You should just not ask because you might ruin your friendship. It shouldnt make a difference if your friend is gay, he is still the same person. Also, when you are around people that may be gay, be careful not to say things like "That is so gay" because it is hurtful to gay people to use gay as a word to express negative feelings.
