Are you better at remembering faces or names? I'm much better at remembering faces and I'm always quite shocked when someone remembers me by name sometimes YEARS after we first saw each other! How about you?

I'm usually a lot better at remembering faces than I am names. I even had a teacher my first semester in college like that. She would be hardpressed in being able to remember your name just from class to class but she would be able to recognize your face. Just wouldn't be able to remember your name that well, at least not immediately. But yeah, I'm better at recognizing faces more than I am remembering names. Although that's not to say that I'm bad at remembering names.

I am very bad in remembering names but I can recognize the faces alright. It is very embarrassing to meet an old classmate who can remember my name but I totally forget the name. I think aging has taking a toll in my memory bank.

I have a hard time with faces, because I have really bad vision. I hard a hard time with names, if I can not clearly hear the person's vlice. Once I have heard a person's voice, and if i can hear them when we meet again, I will remember there name every time.

I remember both. When I meet someone, I try to associate something of their looks with the name. I do occasionally forget someone's name, but not often. Very seldom do I forget a face.

i am much better at remembering faces more than names because i am a very visual person and almost a photographic memory and i find that if i see aperson after along time, i will remember their face, but not their name.

I'm very good with remembering faces, sometimes names depending on how long I knew them. There are days when I am out shopping and I see people that I have met or worked with elsewhere but can't always put a name to a face. I'm sure some of these people realize that I don't remember their name. Some times I will stop and ask them if I know them from somewhere and we will go through where we could have known each other from.

Usually I remeber both, but sometimes I just remember the face or the name and ocasionally I can't remember either one and that's when it gets embarassing because maybe someone is talking to you in a friendly way and you just know you've met them before but can't remember anything. I just follow whatever the person is talking about and pretend I do remember them.

I will totally remember a face but i will not remember a name unless it is a nickname . Even friends i have had for years i have to say , hi , how are you , um um , blush , what was your name again . I usually end up getting smacked or teased a bit . My friends know i have trouble with it so I most of the time do not get an angry reaction . It can get frustrating though to find names in my cell phone and have no idea who they are .

Somehow faces are easier to remember than names. I do sometimes mix up names with other people faces but usually I tend to play along with the person as it I remember their names or asked secretly someone beside.
