My son brought home his lunch menu for the month of October and we were going over what days he wants to eat school lunch and what days he wants to pack a lunch. His school has really good lunches I think. I would not mind eating his lunch menu most of the time. They get a lot of food too. Does you child school serve good food? Do they have a favorite? My son's is Country Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread, green beans. Desert varies this month it is a brownie.

The school lunches are a joke here as well. The elementary school and the primary school especially. My youngest son is in high school and they have a better variety including a salad bar and various snack machines. He does enjoy eating at school though these days. I think he eats more junk than anything else. We did pack his lunch every day last year. It was much better to pack a lunch than what they were serving!

My sons school lunch is $1.75 and the menu is terrible. He eats at school one day a week "pizza day" and packs his lunch the remainder of the week. You decide whether the menu is good or not. The menu for that day is 1 pizza square, corn and a pear half and white milk. Chocolate is $0.10 more. And today's menu is a hot dog w bread (and they mean bread no bun), cole slaw, 1/2 apple and white milk. If they want sauce yep $0.10 more.
