What are the few simple things that you do to keep yourself fit?

Hi friends,recently,I have visited my doctor and he told me to change my whole life style.I mean,my food habits,schedules - sleeping hours,excercise etc.Now,I eat more of colourful fruits,and less of heavy meals and friend stuffs.No chocolates and ice creams for me for a month. I was wondering if some of you could please share me some of your tips to stay fit and healthy.Is excercise the only way to stay fit other than diet?

to keep fit, i try to walk more instead of using my car for very near places..... also, i try not to sit after eating.....

I always try to walk and stay away from car as far as possible,even when coming back from work,I always prefer to walk then go by staff bus.But,yes,I have this bad habit of sitting and watching TV after food.I guess,I need to avoid that from now on.Thank you.

Well, I am doing my jogging every 3 days, I am doing also my set up in the house to keep my abs flat, then for sure everyday I am eating only full lunch with desert in this time but in the morning it is just a sandwich and coffee then during dinner time it is my soup and vegetables salad and avoid much more oil product except olive oil.....

Hi Brisk, I do a lot of walking when I can, if I'm going somewhere and I don't need to carry much and I'm to going to far, I will sometimes ride my bike. I don't eat a lot of sweets and I drink quite a bit of water every day. That's really all I do to stay in shape and it seems to work. Cheers, Tianna

I just keep in running every afternoon around 6:00, almost every day. I think that is the exercise made me fit. I think there is no replacement for exercise, diet will help, but can not work without some sport. :)
