How many stocks did you sell today in light of the news on Wall Street?

I have stock in only one company. I am going to hold on to it and see where this crazy ride takes me. Hell, I even BOUGHT some more of this stock before the sh!t hit the fan. But I think it is a good stock. On word that the Dow dropped 774 points, how much of your stock portfolio did you sell? Or are you along for the roller coaster ride and going to see how it all plays out? Do you think a lot of people are panicking unnecessarily, or do you believe "everything will all be ok?" I am not sure what to think. But I am getting queasy on this crazy ride and I am ready for it to end?

I don't buy or sell, my investments are managed by my bank and they've done a fairly good job. I'm just waiting to see how much I lost.

Its a scary prospect. I hope you didn't lose too much. In my stocks and my 401k combined, I have lost a big chunk but not so big I will fade to black and jump out of a 100 story building.

i do not own any stocks, nor do i follow stocks, or would really know how to own a stock or what to do with it. i think trying to follow the Dow would completely lose me! lol

LOL! Yep my brain explodes every time they talk about Wall Street. I am sure glad my hubby understands it better than I do.

I didn't sell a single stock, since I don't own a single stock. It's hard to sell what you don't own, unless you steal it, and sell it, but I woudln't know, because I've never done anything like that. LOL I'm glad that I didn't invest in the stock market. I have a few mutual finds, but that's it.

I imagine it would be difficult to steal stocks. LOL too funny . You are probably better off not owning any stocks.. there are risky at ANY time.. things change soooooooooo quickly
