Is Primerica a good company?

I have a friend whose hounding me about joining his company called Primerica where you help others refinance their mortgages and stuff to pay them off sooner. Anyone have any experience good or bad with this company? Either working for them or purchasing one of their mortgage products? Any feedback would be appreciated right now.
