when the bill arrives...

hi. dining out is probably the most common activity that we do with friends. aside from watching movies, eating out is always part of the plan. when the bill arrives, who gets to pay? is it usually a dutch-treat or someone puts it in his/her tab?

WHen we go to eat with friends we always tell the waitor/waitress to make two seperate checks. That way everyone pays their own unless we have made it clear before hand that we are treating or they are.

We pay for what we eat. Well, sometimes I have to pay if my friend does not have any money, and they always forget to pay me back! Well, it's okay, because we're friends, anyway. I normally forget too.

I think paying the bill when among friends all depends on what the ocassion is, or if it was established from the first moment the bill will eb shared. Generally there is the understanding that the bill is going to be divided when ti is among friends.
